Sunday Afternoon

I decided to start a blog to share my life with friends and family. Today is Sunday and Jeremy is at work for the start of his 48. For those who don't know about firefighter schedules, he goes to work for 48 hours and then is home for 96 (4 days). This is a recent change for our family, it used to be 24 on, 24 off, 24 on, 24 off, 24 on and then 4 days off. We are getting used to it and Jeremy is enjoying his days off when he is not working overtime.

Getting back to reality from the wedding wirlwind has been difficult. We were all sick with the flu last week and so things around the house aren't quite being kept up. My goal today is to get it clean and catch up on laundry (it never ends). Emily seems to go through 3 outfits a day, and I think Jeremy's clothes are multiplying in the hamper because he is never home yet, he has a bunch of laundry.

Well I better get back to the madness that is my home. The dogs are looking at me for help, I think they are done entertainging Emily. Emily needs some time outside to "get her energy out" as she tells me.
